Goals and benefits of the leadership offsite
The Leaders' Community Space takes place two times a year and helps leaders to connect with their aliveness and to encounter their leadership challenges in a generative and energizing way:

- Work holistically on your mental and physical health to ensure long-term performance, wellbeing and satisfaction.

The Leaders' Space takes place at a beautiful location near Berlin, starting on the first day at 4 pm and ending on the third day at 2 pm. Please not the following key aspects:
- The event is excusively designed for leaders in managerials functions of profit and non-profit organisations to ensure high quality discussion and networking.
- Similar to 1-1 leadership coachings, the personal leadership challenges discussed will be treated absolutely confidential.
- Unlike a training with specific content, The Leaders' Space can be attended regularly participants to work on their ongoing leadership challenges.
Certificate
A certificate of participation for The Leaders' Space can be issued upon request after completion of the event.
Key content of the leadership offsite
Leadership is always embedded - in the situation of the company, but also in the respective life situation of the individual leader. Thus, the retreat provides a space to connect with the very personal situation of every leader: Where do I stand in my leadership and in my life? What issues do I want to work on for myself to feel more alive?
The Alive School Community Space consists of five different types of sessions:
- Exploration of contemporary leadership topics: Workshops provided by Julius Lassalle or an additional trainer
- Bodywork and mindfulness sessions: Get in touch with yourself and your current leadership challenge
- Group coaching on the participants leadership challenges, facilitated by Julius Lassalle
- Peer learning and networking between the participants: Discuss relevant leadership topics of your interest with other participants
- Individual space that you can use as you need it, e.g. for walks, relaxation phases or personal dialogue with other participants
The following aspects are part of the program:
- All participants receive a questionnaire in advance to help them reflect and identify their current (leadership) challenges. Answering the questions is completely voluntary and sometimes the really important questions and challenges only come to light during the event.
- All (bodywork) methods are explained against their scientific background from the fields of neuroscience, emobidument and humanistic psychology. Depending on the interests of the participants, we go into varying depths here.
- All participants are actively encouraged to take responsibility for their own wishes and needs during the retreat, i.e. to pursue their own needs and topics or to incorporate sufficient recovery phases and to skip sessions for this purpose.
- The leadership offsite is an experimental space in which participants can test their limits. The motto is "everyone goes as far as they want and as far as they can"!
- Just as central as the individual and joint experimentation is the encounter between the participants - professionally in exchange as managers and personally as people.
Who is the leadership offsite for?
The offsite is exclusively aimed at people leaders and expert leaders in managerial functions of organisations that are interested in a new, powerful type of leadership:
- who want to bring more mindfulness into their everyday management work
- who want to work on their long-term well being and leadership success
- who believe in holistic leadership which integrates mind, body and behavior
- who are keen to experiment and explore their aliveness in a vibrant, trusting atmosphere
Please note: The Leadership Retreat requires a certain level of physical and mental health. If you currently have restrictions on either of these levels, please contact us. We will be happy to clarify in a preliminary discussion whether and when participation makes sense.
It is recommended to attend the Embodied Leadership Fundamentals training before joining The Leaders' Space - plus participants are eligible to additional community membership discounts.
But it‘s not a prerequisite - we look forward to welcoming everyone!
Methods
Our starting point for all exercises and sessions is always the personal experience, namely "from the body to the head". We therefore start with the personal emotional and physical experience, reflect on it and apply it to the respective leadership and life worlds of the participants. In contrast to most conventional training programmes, learning at the Alive School is always holistic, i.e:
- with the head/mind: models and theoretical input, self-reflection
- with the body/heart: individual and group exercises, body hacks
- at the behavioural level: simulations, routines, action plans
