Goals and benefits of the leadership training

You learn the fundamentals of embodied leadership and how to apply them for more self-empowerment in your leadership:

  • Understand and take advantage of the body-mind connection as a leader: Build resilience and lead with more energy.
  • Learn the key competences that help you to navigate yourself and your team in a VUCA world.
  • Lead with more inner clarity and focus: Define your leadership statement.

The face-to-face training in Berlin takes one day from 9.30-18.00. Your trainer will be Julius Lassalle. Approx. 4 weeks after the training, there will be an online retro for those interested (if you don't have time here, you can take part in another online retro).

Certificate

A certificate of participation for the training can be issued upon request after completion of the training and the online retro.

Key content of the leadership training

Many leaders have the feeling of being in a hamster wheel - although they run and run, they never reach their goal and fulfil neither their own expectations of themselves nor the expectations of others. That's why the motto of the training is: Get out of the hamster wheel and into the driver's seat! To achieve this, our body is the most important guidepost.

This leadership training in Berlin is about developing inner clarity, strength and determination to embody your personal way of leadership and to become your best self as a leader. Participants learn how to empower themselves and be the master of their own leadership journey - for more impact in their company, personal wellbeing, and long-term leadership success.

The following aspects are part of our training:

  1. Essential leadership skills for long-term success: Overview of the latest research
  2. Fundamentals in neuroscience and embodiment research for optimal self-management: if we understand our stress better, we can deal with it better
  3. Develop mindfulness - for yourself, for others and for the situation you find yourself in; mindfulness is the basis for good decisions and more impact in your company and personal satifaction as a leader
  4. Practical bodyhacks and stress exercises: Learn how you can manage your nervous system to reduce stress and boost long-term mental and physical health
  5. Define your leadership statement that summarises who you are as a leader and the impact you create
  6. Get to know the 4 steps of embodied leadership: Awareness, Attraction, Action and Alignment. These steps serve as a guidepost to lead yourself and develop your team

Methods

In leadership training, we always start from your personal experience and discuss solutions to problems on the basis of practical cases rather than just theory. This is then added as additional input. In contrast to most conventional training programmes, learning at the Alive School is always holistic, i.e:

  • with the head/mind: models and theoretical input, self-reflection
  • with the body/heart: individual and group exercises, body hacks
  • at the behavioural level: simulations, routines, action plans
